Unlike traditional concrete blocks which are made from a mix of sand, cement and stones, foam concrete blocks replace the stones with a stabilizing foaming agent. This mix causes the blocks to be lightweight, durable and environmentally friendly lending to a shorter construction period and lower overall construction cost.

The European Patent Office (EPO) granted a patent covered in thirty-eight (38) countries for a unique lightweight composite structural flooring system to Engineer Akhnaton Stephen Imhotep St. Rose, who is represented by ABG Intellectual Property (Spain). This was communicated in the EPO’s 6th January, 2021 publication and forms the basis of the development of GRILLSPAN.

As a St. Lucian based company Amarna has been privileged to be a part of the new growth St. Kitts & Nevis has been experiencing by acting as Civil and Structural Engineering Consultants to many of the country’s new projects. Thanks to its Citizenship By Investment (CBI) program, St. Kitts’ construction industry has experienced a major boom with new developments of million dollar resort residences, commercial buildings and apartment complexes. One of the first major real estate projects to take advantage of this CBI program has been the KOI brand with the construction of its administrative office, a 12,000 s.f. commercial building in close proximity to the Robert L. Ravine Poisson Public Sanitation Facility Replacement
On Friday 27th November 2015 the St. Lucia Social Development Fund (SSDF) held an official contract signing ceremony for the ‘Ravine Poisson Public Sanitation Facility Replacement’. This project is being funded by the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) and is worth E.C. $ 463,396.42. Work on this project is ongoing and is expected to be carried out over the upcoming 3 month period. Amarna’s role on this project is to design and supervise the progress of the project.
